"I was a little nervous buying my textbook…"
I was a little nervous buying my textbook online, especially since I was trying not to spend more than I had to. But the payment process was simple, and being able to see the seller details and messages made me feel a lot better about it. Overall, it felt safe and the price worked for me, so I’d definitely use it again

"Didn’t feel great about the privacy stuff"
I used StudentVIP once, i came away thinking, hmm, I’m not really comfortable with this. The privacy settings and info just felt a bit unclear, and I kept wondering what data they were actually keeping or sharing. Maybe it’s all buried in the terms somewhere, but who really wants to dig through that? It should be much easier to understand upfront. I ended up deleting what I could and decided I won’t be using it again.

"Wish I’d Checked the Corners More Closely"
I bought a textbook through StudentVIP and it was pretty much exactly what the listing said. The condition matched overall, though I do kind of regret not asking for a closer photo because the corners were a bit more worn than I expected. Still, it was an easy enough process and I’m happy with it overall.

"Alerts were kinda too late"
Most of the alerts showed up late, so they didnt really help me much. I was hoping they’d be more on time, but by the time I saw them it was already kinda pointless tbh.

"Handy pickup, mystery delivery times"
The pickup option was actually convenient, so no complaints there. The delivery times, though, were a bit vague, which is super helpful when you're trying to plan around uni stuff, obviously. Not a disaster or anything, but it could definitely be clearer.

"Ratings actually felt honest"
I used StudentVIP mostly to check reviews and ratings before buying a textbook, and yeah... it felt straightforward. The comments seemed genuine to me, not like one of those sites where everything is just random 5-star reviews for no reason.
It was easy to compare sellers, and I didn’t get that dodgy feeling about the ratings, which was nice. Simple site, did what I needed, i’d probably use it again.

Listing my textbooks was simple and didn’t take much time at all. A few parts were a bit awkward on my phone, though, not a huge deal, just the kind of thing that makes you pause for a second. I also ended up double-checking some details twice, mostly because I didn’t want to mess anything up. Overall, it worked fine and got the job done.

I paid for my book through StudentVIP and it was a smooth process overall. The checkout was easy to follow and the confirmation email came through quickly. The only thing was the payment page took a little while to load, so I wasn’t totally sure if it had gone through at first. It worked out fine though, no real complaints

"Still Haven’t Gotten Paid"
I sold my textbook here weeks ago and I’m still waiting for the payout to show up in my account. The buyer already received the book, so it’s frustrating to keep hearing vague excuses about “policy” and processing timelines with no actual date. Support takes forever to reply and doesn’t really give a straight answer. i wouldn’t sell through this site again.

"Useful, but the site’s kind of a mess"
I used studentvip.com to look for uni textbooks and notes, and to be fair, it does what it’s meant to do. I did find stuff eventually, but I blame the messy layout for making it take longer than it should’ve. The search was okay, but I had to try a few different ways before getting what I wanted. Pages loaded fine for me, so that wasn’t the issue — it’s more that the site feels a bit old and crowded. Not terrible or anything, just feels like it could really use a cleanup to make it easier to get around.

"Mostly reliable, but communication could be clearer"
I’ve used StudentVIP a few times now to buy textbooks, and overall it’s been reliable. The sellers I dealt with seemed legit, and I got what I paid for each time. That said, the messaging can be a bit slow, and sometimes the communication wasn’t super clear, which was a little annoying when I was just trying to confirm details quickly. Still, I’d probably use it again...

"Support got back to me quick"
I had a small issue with my listing and reached out to support. they replied faster than I thought they would, which kind of made the whole thing feel less annoying. It did take a little while to actually get fixed, but since they were helpful enough along the way, I can’t really complain too much. Overall, not perfect, but decent experience.

I signed up for an account on studentvip.com and it was quick overall. The steps were clear and I didn’t really get stuck at any point. The verification email came through without any trouble too. Nothing fancy, but it does what it needs to do and I’m happy with it so far.

"Way Less Sketchy Than Facebook"
I used StudentVIP to buy a textbook and felt about a thousand times safer than dealing with random Facebook groups. The listing details and messages made it easy to check if anything seemed off. The seller did take a little while to reply, but overall it was a good experience and I’d use it again.

"Decent if you’re willing to dig a bit"
StudentVIP was okay overall, especially since I was trying to find something without spending more than I needed to. The search can be a bit hit or miss though. I found the filters didn’t always narrow things down properly, especially when searching by uni or subject, so I had to click around more than I expected. I did eventually find what I needed at a reasonable price, but it took a bit more effort than it probably should have.
